PROPERTY AND FUNDS OF HAYK NEWSPAPER ARRESTED

ArmInfo. On 19 February 2009 Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement
Service [JACES] arrested property and funds of the Hayk editorial
office, press-service of JACES said.

Actions of compulsory executors were stemming from requirements of
the lawsuit filed on the basis the enforcement list submitted by the
Court of Common Pleas of Yerevan. Arresting of the property and funds
of Hayk editorial office in an amount 2,677 mln AMD and requirement to
stop its publication is among the list of requirements. To recall, Hayk
newspaper is the body of the earlier ruling party Armenian Pan-National
Movement, which was actively supporting candidacy of the first
president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan at the presidential election.
