RUSSIA AND TURKEY MAY BE INVITED TO TAKE PART IN EU ‘EASTERN PARTNERSHIP’ PROGRAMME

ArmInfo. "Russia and Turkey may be invited to take part in
consultations on EU ‘Eastern Partnership’ programme which is called
to bring together the European Union and six countries of the former
Soviet Union – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and
Ukraine", Foreign Minister of France Bernard Kouchner said at a
press-conference in Brussels held upon the results of the regular
session of EU Foreign Ministerial Council, France Press reports.
To note, it is envisaged to increase the volumes of assistance to
these states to 350 mln Euro according to the ‘Eastern Partnership’
programme.
