ARMENIAN-GERMAN INTER-GOVERNMENTAL TWO-DAY CONSULTATIONS KICK OFF IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS: Armenian-German inter-governmental
two-day consultations have today kicked off in Yerevan chaired by
Armenian Finance Minister Tigran Davtian and the representative
of German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development doctor
Marion Urban.
Public relations department of Armenian Finance Ministry told
Armenpress that the Armenian-German financial cooperation is
centralized in three main spheres – financial and private sector,
energy, water supply and water removal. Comparatively small grant
programs are implemented in health and nature protection spheres.
Within the frameworks of two-day consultation on-going and future
programs will be discussed. The German government has provided the
means with privileged conditions – for 40 year period.
In general, 235 million euros have by now been provided to Armenia
within the frameworks of Armenian-German financial cooperation,
from which 195 million euros were credit and 40 million euros – grant.
