MONITORING AT THE CONTACT LINE INTERRUPTED

The recurrent monitoring of the OSCE Mission at the contact line
between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan near
Horadiz settlement in Fizuli region was interrupted, Press Service
of the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

At the beginning of the monitoring the Azeri side opened fire in
the direction of the monitoring group. From the Karabakhi side the
monitoring was conducted by Coordinator of the OSCE Office Imre
Palatinus (Hungary), Field Assistant of the Personal Representative
of the OSCE chairman-in-Office, Irzhe Aberle (Czech Republic) and
representatives of the NKR Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs.

Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej
Kasprzyk, who headed the monitoring group from the Azerbaijani side
instructed to stop the monitoring. Besides, the Azeri side again did
not lead the monitoring group to its front positions.
