/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Not all the participants of negotiation process on
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement have freedom in decision-making,
and those who have wait for a suitable time, said a YSU professor,
political scientist Alexander Manasyan at the press-conference in
Yerevan. As he says countries like U.S. and Russia wait for a suitable
time to settle the problem to their advantage. "The main victims of
Karabakh confrontation are Armenians who were forced to leave their
permanent residencies in Eastern Transcaucasus, Nakhijevan, Central
and Northern Artsakh. Moreover, the Armenians of these territories
have not received any material or territorial compensation," Manasyan
emphasized.

The professor also introduced his book on "Karabakh Confrontation"
issued in 2008.The publication gives historical and legal arguments
that irrefutably prove the full legitimacy of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic
formed in compliance with the norms of International Rights. The
booklet gives argumentation important during the debates with the
opponents. At the same time it is accessible to those with no deep idea
of the situation. One of the parts of the booklet deals p with Sumgait
disorders of 2008, stating that they were not at all unexpected but
were another link in the chain of the means leading to the target,
i.e. clearing Azerbaijan of Armenians.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
