ARMENIAN CAPITAL GETS NEW MAYOR

Yerevan, 5 March: By the decree of the Armenian president, issued on
4 March, Gagik Beglaryan, who previously headed the Kentron (Centre)
district of the capital city, is appointed new mayor of Yerevan.

By another decree of the president, previous mayor Yervand Zakharyan
is appointed advisor to the Armenian president.
