A large number of Diaspora Armenian players will play for hockey teams
in Armenia. Many Diaspora Armenian hockey players in the U.S., Canada
and Russia and some of them are willing to play for Armenia, told
"A1+" President of the Armenian Hockey Federation Karen Khachatryan.

"There are nearly 26-27 legions in the youth and national hockey teams
of Armenia. Many of them play in the U.S. and can benefit Armenia
with their game. There are also players who don’t know whether they
will play or not," said Karen Khachatryan.

The most well-known Armenian hockey player in the NHL is Zach Bogosyan,
who is a player of "Atlanta". Bogosyan is from Canada and Armenia
is seriously interested in having him on the team. "Atlanta" is one
of the leading teams of the NHL and not all players on the team have
the chance to help their teams.

However, the AHF is getting ready to talk with Bogosyan and discuss the
future of the famous hockey player in Armenia. There are also talented
hockey players in Russia, including 20-year old Ruben Beghunts and
19-year old Samvel Mnatsyan from the BKMA of Moscow.

The AHF is discussing the plan to hold an international hockey game and
other high-level games in Yerevan, especially after the reconstruction
of the sport/concert complex.

"We have the desire, but there are some issues. We can organize a
friendly game with the Georgian team. There are a number of issues
that need to be discussed," said Khachatryan in closing.
