YEREVAN, MARCH 9, NOYAN TAPAN. "Yerevan Mayor’s Office works normally.
Gagik Beglarian is a person familiar with the system, he masters both
communal and town problems." Kamo Areyan, the First Deputy Yerevan
Mayor, reported at the March 9 press conference. "There is a new Mayor,
which implies a new working style, new approaches, as well as
freshness," the Deputy Mayor emphasized. K. Areyan assured that no
cadre changes were done by the Mayor.

In response to the question of whether K. Areyan will continue working
at Yerevan Mayor’s Office or will move to the tax sphere according to
rumors, the Deputy Mayor said: "These talks have no ground. I am a
state official and continue my state service at Mayor’s Office. I will
continue serving to the Republic of Armenia as it will be instructed to
me in the power."
