Kazakh President offers to institute Euras as EurAsEC member states’
common currency

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev offers to
institute Euras as EurAsEC member states’ common currency.
`Today, the EurAsEC member states stand a good chance to alleviate the
crisis burden through introduction of common currency,’ he told an
economic forum in Astana. `The new currency system will ensure lasting
infrastructure investment and operative current transactions.’
He insisted that introduction of EurAsEC common currency won’t damage
the member states’ sovereignty.
`The consequences of the global financial crisis can be alleviated
through joint efforts,’ President Nazarbayev said.
He also offered formation of a working group.
