NA Vice Speaker Arevik Petrosyan Receives the Ambassador of Germany in
Armenia
On March 12 Vice Speaker of the RA National Assembly Mrs Arevik
Petrosyan received the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of
Germany to the Republic of Armenia Mrs Andrea Wiktorin.
Touching upon the activation of the Armenian-German parliamentary
relations during recent months both sides expressed hope that the
cooperation would have effective continuity.
Mrs Andrea Wiktorin said that from March 20 the German cultural week
would begin in Armenia and she invited the Armenian parliamentarians
to take part in the events, to which Mrs Petrosyan responded with
satisfaction highlighting that step directed to the cultural ties of
the two countries.
At the meeting issues of the implementation of the programme
International Parliamentary Scholarship run by Bundestag, the further
development of the Armenian-German parliamentary relations, envisaging
visits, showing support to the schools with German language study in
Armenia, activation of cultural ties, as well as other issues of
bilateral interest were discussed.
