The "Heritage" Party and the Armenian National Congress did not come
to a common denominator, and therefore, they will not run in the
elections with a common party list.
The Board of the "Heritage" party decided yesterday to reject the
suggestion of the Armenian National Congress to participate in the
elections of the Yerevan Mayor with a common party list. According
to representatives of the "Heritage," the format of the election list
proposed by the Congress did not satisfy them.
"Yesterday we discussed the suggestion until late at night. The list
could be more victorious and competitive, but our suggestion was
not accepted. We decided to participate separately, finding points
of contact.
Amen Martirosyan topped the list we proposed. Levon Ter-Petrosyan was
the second, Raffi Hovhannisyan was third," President of the Board of
the "Heritage" Party Anahit Bakhshyan said.
