Microsoft Launches BizSpark Program In Armenia

MICROSOFT LAUNCHES BIZSPARK PROGRAM IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, MARCH 18, NOYAN TAPAN. Microsoft RA company – Microsoft’s
Armenian subsidiary has launched BizSpark program on development of IT
enterprises in Armenia in cooperation with the Enterprise Incubator
Foundation. The Director of Microsoft RA Grigor Barseghian stated at
the March 18 press conference that within the framework of the program,
the possibility of express access to Microsoft technologies and tools
(for the design, tests and display of computer production) will be
provided to startups and groups of programmers engaged in computer
programming sector. Besides, the startups – participants in BizSpark in
Armenia will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to partners
of the Microsoft network and the international community and to get
Microsoft RA’s advice on technology development and service provision.

According to G. Barseghian, Microsoft started implementing its BizSpark
initiative in December 2008, and about 60 companies worldwide are
currently involved in these activities.

The Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation Bagrat Yengibarian
attached importance to BizSpark’s implementation in Armenia from
the viewpoint that the program will contribute to a shift from the
fulfilment of programming orders to the creation of complete software.
