RA CEC DOES NOT RECEIVE BIDS FROM POLITICAL FORCES DURING FIRST TWO DAYS OF NOMINATION FOR ELECTIONS OF YEREVAN COUNCIL OF ELDERS

YEREVAN, MARCH 18, NOYAN TAPAN. As the day before, on March 18 – the
second day of nomination for the May 31 elections of Yerevan Council
of Elderly, the RA Central Electoral Commission (CEC) did not receive
a bid for nomination from any political force, NT correspondent was
informed by spokeswoman for CEC Tatev Ohanian.

The deadline for presenting the documents necessary for registration
of parties and party blocs to the CEC is March 22, 6 pm.

According to CEC spokeswoman, the CEC has not yet received a bid from
any organization for accreditaion with the aim of implementing observer
mission at the elections. The deadline for accreditation is March 21.
