E-government project discussed at sitting of Armenian National
Competitiveness Fund with Armenian prime minister’s participation

ArmInfo. The e-government project was discussed at a sitting of the
Armenian National Competitiveness Fund, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran
Sargsyan told journalists. To recall, the e-government project
envisages a system of exchange of information and documents among all
state departments.
Furthermore, the sitting covered the projects of creation Varpetats
district (district of masters) in the town of Spitak, which will become
the center of traditional Armenian crafts and tourism. "The program is
positively assessed, there are proposals to create similar structures
in Gyumri and one more town of Armenia",- the prime minister said. He
added that two new investors are cooperating with the Fund. One of them
will annually finance educational programs. The prime minister didn’t
specify the volume of investments as according to him, the key goal is
not the figure as such but unifying the Armenian people to implement
important programs.
To recall, the project of renovation of Tatev Monastery is
preliminarily estimated at 20 mln EUR.
