President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the Head of the European
Commission delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Raul de Luzenberger

noted that the meeting with the Group before it officially starts its
activities could prove useful and would attribute to the success of
their mission.

Stressing with satisfaction the atmosphere of mutual trust established
during the negotiations, Serzh Sargsyan said that the signed Memorandum
and all other steps on that direction have one goal: to assist
Armenia in achieving best possible results in the implementation of
the Action Plan.

establishment of new institutions," – the President of Armenia
underlined.

Addressing the members of the Advisory Group, Serzh Sarg syan said,
"the implementation of this program proves once again that the people
and the authorities of Armenia believe that these relations have
a future. I also believe that this experience would be useful for
the implementation of the Eastern Policy initiatives. We welcome
the adoption of the Eastern Policy at the EU summit. We are also
confident that Armenia can benefit from many of its elements, and
we would be happy to work on the implementation of the projects that
would advance our country."

According to President Sargsyan, assistance of the European
Union and European structures to the programs of the Armenian’s
authorities directed at strengthening democracy, making our economy
more competitive, ensuring a more secure future for the Armenian
children, is great. With this regard he stressed the importance of the
Advisory Group’s work and role and noted that the Group’s assistance
