PRESS-CONFERENCE ON NON-TRADITIONAL SEXUAL ORIENTATION HAS ALMOST TURNED INTO SCUFFLE

ArmInfo. The problem of sexual minorities may be resolved only
in case if moral norms are acting in the society, the leader of a
charitable organization, former activist of the Karabakh movement,
Khachik Stambultsyan, said at today’s press-conference. He thinks
homosexuality is not a disease but an immoral fancy like prostitution.
For his part, chairman of Helsinki Association of Armenia Mika
Danielyan argued with Stambultsyan and told him to leave homosexuals
alone and called to be tolerant regarding representatives of
non-traditional sexual orientation as they are ‘harmless’.
