COUNCIL OF EUROPE PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY TO DISCUSS IMPLEMENTATION OF RESOLUTION 1643

Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe second part of the 2009
ordinary session launched today in Valencia, Spain. The implementation
processes of the PACE Resolution 1643 by the Armenian authorities
are scheduled in the agenda of the session.

PACE Co-rapporteurs on Armenia Gorge Colombier and John Prescott
prepared a report on the implementation processes of the PACE
Resolution by Armenian Authorities to be made during this session.

It is important to remind that it was highly recommended to suspend
Armenian Delegation’s voting right on 17 December PACE session. Later,
on 27 January, third resolution on Armenia was adopted and it was
defined not to suspend Armenian Delegation’s voting right.

PACE Monitoring Session is attended by the members of Armenian
Delegation to PACE Chairman Davit HArutyunyan, Armen Roustamyan,
Avet Adontc and Raffi Hovhannisyan.
