3 YEAR SUSPENDED SENTENCE FOR VARDAN JHANGIRYAN

The Kentron-Nork Marash first instance court pronounced the sentence
of Gagik Jhangiryan’s brother Vardan Jhangiryan, who was found
guilty based on the Article 316, and was sentenced to three year of
imprisonment.Considering the Article 69 of the Armenian Crime Code
and the 3 months and 28 days that Vardan Jhangiryan passed under
arrest, the court decided to sentence him to 2 year 8 months of
imprisonment. The court applied the Article 70 also and made the
decision not to execute the sentence, but put Vardan Jhangiryan on
a 3-year probation term
