On March 29, 2009, the Chork-Marzban Society’s event commemorating
the 100 anniversary of the Great Resistance of Chork-Marzban in 1910
was held at the Nazareth and Sima Kalaydjian Hall of the Arshag and
Eleanor Dickranian Diocesan Complex in Burbank, California. The event
was sponsored by the Consulate General of the Republic of Armenia
in Los Angeles. His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate,
presided over the event.
