Matthew Bryza hopes that Aliyev and Sarkisyan will meet on May 7-8

ArmInfo-TURAN. Next meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan
may take place on May 7 or 8 within the frameworks of the EU’s summit
"Eastern Partnership," said on Friday the American Co-chairman of the
OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza. ‘I hope that presidents will
participate in the meeting," he said and noted that the French Co-chair
of the Minsk Group Matthew Bryza would arrive to the region on Friday,
and some time later Yuri Merzliakov would arrive. Bryza said that the
goal of the visits is to obtain final agreement and preparation of the
next meting of presidents. Concerning the situation in the region Bryza
said that it would promote the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. He
noted special role of Turkey and some warming in the Armenian-Turkish
relations.
Speaking about the meetings he had in Baku Bryza said that he had had
talks with the President Ilham Aliyev, Foreign Minister and his deputy.
They considered also the questions on energy with the Minister of
Energy and Industry Natig Aliyev, Vice President of SOCAR Elshad
Nasirov, Bryza said.
