ARMENIAN PRESIDENT MEETS SUPREME RELIGIOUS LEADER OF IRAN

Supreme Religious Leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei received the
President of Armenia Serj Sargsyan, Iranian IRNA news agency reported.
During the meeting, Khamenei stressed the need for serious
implementation of contracts signed by the President of Armenia
in Tehran.
Khamenei said the United States and some European countries supported
Saddam Hussein in the Iran-Iraq war. "There are obvious and hidden
hands of big powers in the conflict in the region," said Khamenei.
Supreme Religious Leader of Iran stressed the importance of ensuring
stability between Armenia and neighboring states.
