DRAFT INFORMATION SECURITY CONCEPTION TO BE SUBMITTED TO RA NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL

The draft Information Security Conception was approved at the
Information Security Conception elaboration interdepartmental working
group’s April 16 meeting. The draft will be submitted to the RA
National Security Council for approval. According to National Security
Council Secretary Artur Baghdasarian, the draft worked out in three
months includes all proposals of departments’ representatives. He said
that the Conception is of exclusive importance in ensuring country’s
information security.
According to the National Security Council Press Office report, the
draft Conception establishes Armenia’s national interests in the
sphere of information security, kinds and sources of information
security threats, main tasks and ways of ensuring information
security. The draft also includes the provisions of state policy on
ensuring information security in Armenia and the primary events of
their implementation.
