No agreement on normalization of Armenian-Turlish relations will
be signed today. Negotiations are still in process, RA Foreign
Minister Edward Nalbandian told a news conference today. According
to him, negotiations are proceeding successfully and are close to
completion. At BSEC Foreign Ministers Summit Turkish Minister of
Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan had separate meetings with RF Foreign
Minister Sergey Lavrov and Azerbaijan Deputy Foreign Minister Mamed
Mamedkuliev. Though details are not publicized, normalization of
Armenian-Turkish ties was discussed, well informed circles reported
to PanARMENIAN.Net.

According to Mamed Mamedkuliev, Azerbaijan has no right to interfere
with negotiations between Armenian and Turkey. "Still we’re following
the negotiations course. Official Baku’s position remains unchanged:
normalization of ties between Armenia and Turkey is only possible
on condition "Armenian forces withdraw from Azeri territory" ,"
Mamedkuliev noted.

According to The Wall Street Journal, agreement on Armenian-Turkish
border opening will be signed on Apr. 16.
