ANDRANIK MHERYAN THINKS HE HAS DONE A BIG FAVOR TO HIS HOMELAND

Serge Sargsyan conveyed an Honors order to Andranik Mheryan. The latter
thanked for such an honor and assured that the government will take
up measures to develop the Armenia and Diaspora relations, because
"Armenia is a great state but with Diaspora it becomes a super-power
state". He expressed his wish "for such events and opportunities of
honoring those who put their effort and talent to make their historical
homeland live and prosper, take place more often". The press service
of the president states.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
