PUBLIC MARCH URGING OBAMA TO RECOGNIZE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

On 21 April 2009, the young members and supporters of the Heritage
Party will hold a public march in Yerevan. The event will start at
2pm from the park adjacent to the statue of the renowned painter
Martiros Sarian and its final destination will be the Embassy
of the United States, the press department of the Heriatge party
reports. The objective of the procession will be to deliver, by way
of the Embassy, a message to the newly elected US President, Barack
H. Obama. The aforesaid message urges the President to formally
recognize the 1915-1923 genocide of the Armenians and the great
Armenian dispossession of homeland.
