ARMENIAN TURKOLOGIST: ARMENIAN DIPLOMACY SHOULD BE READY TO SKILFUL TRAPS OF THE TURKISH PARTY

ArmInfo. Armenian diplomacy should be ready to the skilful traps
of the Turkish party, Armenian turkologist Ruben Melkonyan said at
today’s press-conference.

He also added in the talks on normalization of the Armenian-Turkish
relations much depends on competitiveness of our diplomacy, which
should correctly orientate itself.

Melkonyan thinks when normalizing the relations between our countries
the problem of the state borders should be also taken into account. ‘We
have historical lands under the power of Turkey, and if we recognize
the borders of that country in their present state, we shall lose hope
for returning of our native lands forever’, – the turkologist said.
