ARFD PARTY TO STUDY ITS WITHDRAWAL FROM POLITICAL COALITION WITH PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA

ArmInfo. ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party is going to study its withdrawal
from the political coalition with President Serzh Sargsyan, Armen
Rustamyan, parliamentarian from ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party, Head of
Parliamentary Commission for Foreign Affairs, told media.

Since the Constitution of Armenia stipulates that the head of the
country’s foreign policy is the president, we should meet with him
to find out if the foreign policy of the country has changed. The new
policy of Armenian-Turkish relations may lead to further change of the
foreign political course, A. Rustamyan said. In this case ARFD will
leave the coalition. ‘But for our disagreements regarding the foreign
policy, we would cooperate also with Levon Ter-Petrosyan’, he said.
