NAME OF FIRST TURKISH AMBASSADOR TO ARMENIA KNOWN

Istanbul. Ibrahim Nabioglu – APA. The name of the first Turkish
ambassador, who will be accredited in Yerevan, is known, APA’s Turkey
bureau reports quoting Gazeteport news portal.
According to the roadmap agreed by Turkey and Armenia, Turkey’s
ambassador to Georgia Ertan Tezgor will also be accredited in
Yerevan after diplomatic relations are established between the two
countries. Ertan Tezgor will be the first Turkish diplomat accredited
in Armenia.
Tezgor had been advisor of Turkish parliament’s speaker for foreign
affairs for long years. Tezgor had been deputy director of Caucasus
Department of Turkish Foreign Ministry. Tezgor has been Turkey’s
ambassador to Georgia for five years.
He represented Turkey in the funeral of former Armenian Prime Minister
Andranik Margaryan in March, 2007.
