Armenian-Turkish relations are a very sensitive question for the
Armenian people, Prime Minister of Armenia TIgran Sargsyan said in
the parliament today.
"We must be very careful when it comes to Armenian-Turkish relations,"
Sargsyan said. He pointed out that the final version of the agreement
for normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations would be submitted
to the parliament of Armenia. "There will be no secret agreements,"
Sargsyan said and urged the MPs and the people to show pro-Armenian
rather than anti-Turkish moods. He confirmed the statements of the
Armenian President and the Foreign Minister that the road map on
Armenian-TUrkish rapprochement does not contain any points testifying
that Armenia is ready to ratify the Kars Treaty.
"Armenia is normalizing its relations with Turkey with no preliminary
conditions and is expecting TUrkey to do the same," Sargsyan said.
