HOVIK ABRAHAMYAN: "NATIONAL ASSEMBLY WILL CONTINUE TO ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN DISCUSSIONS OVER ALL PROBLEMS OF THE EURO-ATLANTIC AGENDA

On April 28 the President of the National Assembly Mr. Hovik
Abrahamyan received Deputy Secretary General of the North Atlantic
Treaty Organization (NATO) Mr. Claudio Bisogniero
Welcoming the guest the President of the National Assembly underscored
that he considers necessary to develop the cooperation as North
Atlantic ally within NATO and with partner countries. Mr. Abrahamyan
highlighted Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan as
a format of effective cooperation. The President of the National
Assembly told his interlocutor that since 2002 Armenia had been an
associate member of NATO Parliamentary Assembly and will continue to
actively participate in the discussions within the framework of that
structure over all problems of Euro-Atlantic agenda.
At the meeting the interlocutors also discussed issues related to the
normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations and Artsakh problem.
