Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Deputy foreign minister Araz Azimov of Azerbaijan
has completed his trip to Turkey. The visit set a goal to specify a
range of question to the neighboring country.
Today in Baku Azimov stated that answers to some questions had been
given, while others should be specified. He added that Azerbaijan
needs to build up a joint work with Turkey to ensure meeting of two
countries’ interests.
"Interest of Azerbaijan and Turkey are single: security in the region
should be ensured and Armenia must recognize territorial integrity
of neighboring states and release occupied areas of Azerbaijan,"
Azimov said.
Formally his trip was conducted for next negotiations with official
Ankara from the moment of appointment of new foreign affairs minister
of Turkey.
"We used this chance and held a meeting with Turkish new FM Ahmed
Javadoglu. The conducted talks were dedicated to themes of bilateral
relationships, regional problems and security issues," he said.
The questions between the two countries appeared after signing of the
Action Plan on normalization of ties and opening of borders between
Turkey and Armenia.
