PRAGUE, MAY 8, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian side assessed the Prague
meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents useful, which gave
an opportunity to the sides to more clarify the approaches over the
basic principles of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict regulation.

According to a source close to the negotiation process, by saying
"basic principles" the principles of self-determination of nations,
territorial integrity and non-usage of force are specified which
in its turn has been registered in Helsinki at the OSCE ministerial
gathering. The combination of the basic principles in the negotiation
process first of all supposes registration of the right of Nagorno
Karabakh people to self-determination without agenda limitation –
up to separation and legal registration of de facto independence.
