ARE WE ELECTING A MAYOR OR A BUSINESSMAN?

Yerevan (Yerkir) – If people decide to elect a national figure as
Yerevan mayor, the ARF will win this election, Artsvik Minasian,
the ARF candidate for mayor, said when meeting with the residents of
Yerevan’s Malatia-Sebastia district.
"The Yerevan authorities should be formed with our will and not with
fraud or money. If we have an authority that we want to have it will
serve each of you. I am sure that if the mayor and the council members
are not national figures whose main goals are the people’s prosperity,
the city’s security and not their own clan interests and enrichment,
will not be able to serve the nation. We offer you a Yerevan that
is secure, stable, that ensures jobs for the youth and high incomes
for families," Minasian said. "This election should be viewed as
that between the fair and unfair, moral and immoral. We offer you a
fair governance."
Minasian added that if Dashnaktsutyun wins the election, everybody
would feel the reforms. Dashnaktsutyun proposes a system of Yerevan
governance that would exclude corruption.
