MTS UKRAINE CORRECTS MISTAKE CONNECTED WITH THE TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY OF AZERBAIJAN

It took a little more than an hour for MTS Ukraine to fix a mistake
on its official website, in which Azerbaijan was presented without
Nakhchivan.

Ukraine and Azerbaijan traditionally maintain friendly relations, but,
unfortunately, the MTS-Ukraine challenges the territorial integrity
of Azerbaijan.
This is proven by the map of Azerbaijan, represented on the website
of MTS-Ukraine.
For example, if we will select the country in the Roaming
atlas section, there will appear our country, but without
Nakhchivan. Undoubtedly, the authors of the Roaming atlas might
have been mistaken in the design of the map. Well, it could be true,
if not for one insignificant moment..
Even last year we reported that the three largest mobile operators in
Ukraine Kyivstar, Astelit (brand "life") and MTS Ukraine cooperated
with the separatists of Nagorno-Karabakh and present Nagorno-Karabakh
as a separate state on their website. Then, after Day.Az timely
interference, this error was corrected on the web and the errors
associated with the territory of Azerbaijan seemed not to appear on
the sites of the cell companies in Ukraine any longer.
There is no doubt that the error on the site is intentional, and
therefore we hope that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan
and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ukraine will take up the matter.
Official Baku should demand not only to correct errors on the official
site of MTS – Ukraine, but also check information on the cooperation
of the cell company with the company Karabakh Telecom.
