NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF INDONESIA HANDS COPY OF HER CREDENTIALS TO RA FOREIGN MINISTER

YEREVAN, MAY 14, NOYAN TAPAN. On May 14, RA Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian received newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia to
Armenia Mrs.

Nining Suningsih Rochadiat (residence Kiev) on the occasion of
Ambassador’s handing the copy of her credentials. The Minister
expressed the hope that Ambassador’s appointment will make more active
development and deepening of cooperation in various spheres.

According to the report provided to Noyan Tapan by the RA Foreign
Ministry Press and Information Department, the interlocutors
attached importance to activation of political dialogue between
the two countries, development of trade and economic relations,
expansion of cooperation at international organizations. They exchanged
thoughts over the world financial-economic crisis and mitigation of
its consequences, as well as touched upon a number of regional and
international problems.

Nining Suningsih Rochadiat graduated from Pajajaran University
Social Political Sciences Department. From 1974 she took various
posts at Foreign Ministry of Indonesia and at Indonesia’s diplomatic
representations abroad.

In 2002 she was appointed Assistant to the Head on the line of
Professional Organization of Ministry of Women’s Rights and in 2005
Assistant to the Head on the line of NGOs. She is married, has three
children.
