Star Closely Collaborating With Italian Companies To Develop Bread M

STAR CLOSELY COLLABORATING WITH ITALIAN COMPANIES TO DEVELOP BREAD MANUFACTURING

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ On May 20 official opening of modernized
Star bakery was held in Yerevan. Leading experts in the field of
bread manufacturing started their work over the bakery a year ago,
Executive Director of Star Supermarket Chain, Vahan Kerobyan told a
news conference. "Our main purpose was manufacturing of high quality
and tasty bread at affordable prices," he said.

According to him, a new technology for bread manufacturing was
developed jointly with Italian experts. "Along with traditional bread
types we plan to launch production of low-calorie bread, as well as
Russian, Armenian, Italian types."

According to Kerobyan, the bakery will manufacture 5-6 tons of bread
daily at 280 AMD per kilo. USD 850 000 were invested in creation of
modernized workshop and currently the bakery has 50 employees.

According to Star marketing department, Martinyan Varashteanu,
Main technician from Frital Italian Company was invited to assemble
and test the bakery equipment. All the equipment in the bakery was
manufactured by Frital.

Star Management is assured that collaboration with Italian
companies will develop Armenian bread market. Attention to bringing
improved products to Armenian consumers is another proof of Star’s
client-oriented policy.
