YEREVAN, MAY 20, NOYAN TAPAN. If the Republican Party of Armenia
(RPA) wins Yerevan Council of Elders elections to be held on May
31 it plans to assist rise of the quality of primary medical aid
and services provided to population in the sphere of healthcare
and social security. Besides, RPA envisages to raise the quality
and to make affordable specialized medical aid at Yerevan’s medical
institutions, to ensure population’s hygienic-epidemic security, to
implement mother and child healthcare and social complex programs,
to assist development of family medicine and expansion of services
provided by family doctors.
Orinats Yerkir (Country of law) party’s preelection program’s
Healthcare part mentioned that "Yerevan population’s possibility of
receiving complete, especially specialized medical assistance is low
so far." To solve the accumulated problems OYP is going to introduce
a compulsory and voluntary medical insurance system, to continually
raise medical workers’ salaries, to pass to innovatory ways of payment
for doctors. Besides, OYP promises to form social privileges’ system
for medical workers. Holding of events aimed at maternity, children
and ensuring family health is considered important in the programs
of both RPA and OYP.
