A friend asked me why a few days ago.

I’ll tell you what I told him: The ANCA Endowment Fund represents
the single best investment we can make in the future of the Armenian
nation.

We are, of course, blessed as a community with many worthwhile groups
– among them our churches and schools. They deserve our support
and generosity.

But when it comes right down to the bottom line, the ANCA Endowment
delivers the greatest return on my investment.

How?

By leveraging the tremendous energy of a hundreds of thousands of
grassroots Armenian Americans volunteers who share my commitment to
the Armenian Cause.

By getting talented young Armenian Americans started in government,
politics, and journalism jobs in Washington.

By planting the seeds for our community’s future by training the next
generation of leaders and advocates.

By educating the American media and public about the Armenian Cause.

In these areas and so many others, the ANCA Endowment Fund is on
the front line – preserving our identity, educating our grassroots,
networking our community, defending our rights, and advancing our
interests.

I can rely on the ANCA Endowment Fund to professionally advocate
for my views and values – assertively, sometime aggressively, but
always effectively.

They have a rock-solid record of performance, results, and
accountability.

And they are, very simply, the most effective way for our community
– in all its diversity and strength – to play a vital – possibly
life-saving role – at a truly pivotal moment in Armenian history.

We all know the facts:

Armenia is faced with tremendous international pressures, intense
economic problems, and the threat of renewed aggression, and possibly
even a second genocide.

The dangers are real.

Armenia’s viability is on the line.

And justice truly hangs in the balance.

Today the ANCA Endowment Fund, with its proven track record, is clearly
our most effective means of bringing the full power of our community to
bear in defending against these dangers, promoting Armenia’s viability,
and ensuring justice for our nation.

This is especially true in light of the pivotal role that the United
States – the world’s lone superpower – plays in impacting Armenia
and the surrounding region.

It’s plainly urgent in view of the latest attacks in Washington,
DC on Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh, and the cause of justice for the
Armenian Genocide.

Your financial support for the Fund is needed now more than ever.

So please join with me in supporting this noble effort.

Give today to the ANCA Endowment Fund – the best way for our generation
– the latest in a chain going back more than 3,000 years of long,
often painful, but proud history – to carry the burdens of our time,
to meet the challenges of our age, and to leave a brighter future
for those who will write the next chapter in our nation’s long history.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
