FIRST AMBASSADOR OF BENIN ACCREDITED IN ARMENIA

The newly appointed Ambassador of Benin to Armenia, Vissinto Ayi
d’Almeida (seat in Moscow) presented the copies of his credentials
to the Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian.
Greeting the guest, Minister Nalbandian expressed hope that the
accreditation of the first Ambassador of Benin in Armenia would
contribute to the development of bilateral ties.
Ambassador d’Almeida underlined that his country was interested in the
establishment of multifaceted cooperation with Armenia in different
spheres, and his appointment was a sign of that desire.
During the conversation the parties attached importance to the
deepening of cooperation between Armenia and Benin within international
organizations, especially the UN and the International Organization
of the Francophonie.
