TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTER: THE MAIN ISSUE FOR US IS THE TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY OF AZERBAIJAN

ArmInfo. "The main issue for us is the territorial integrity of
Azerbaijan", Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said at a
briefing held after the meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister
Elmar Mammadyarov.

Davutoglu said they saw Azerbaijan’s future as Turkey’s
future. "Azerbaijan and Turkey are brothers, neighbors and
partners". Davutoglu said Turkey would always be together with
Azerbaijan as it was throughout the history. The Turkish Foreign
Minister sent a strong message to Armenia. "Armenia must end
the occupation and clear the tensions in the region. Azerbaijani
territories must be liberated from occupation on the basis of UN
resolutions. Only joint efforts may develop the region".

Davutoglu called the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents
in St Petersburg as very important opportunity.
