Armenian President Receives The Governor Of Russian Yaroslavl Provin

ARMENIAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES THE GOVERNOR OF RUSSIAN YAROSLAVL PROVINCE SERGEY VAKHRUKOV

YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received
today Governor of Russian Yaroslavl province Sergey Vakhrukov.

During the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s official visit to
Armenia in October 2008 agreements of cooperation in trade-economic,
scientific-technical and cultural spheres have been signed between
Armenian Armavir Governor’s office and Russian Yaroslavl Province.

Presidential Press office told Armenpress that Armenian President
Serzh Sargsyan with gratification mentioned the dynamically developing
cooperation between Armenia and Russia in different spheres and
stressed the importance of consolidation of relations and enhancement
of cooperation between the territorial administrative units of the
two states.

He greeted Governor S. Vakhrukov’s initiative to establish conditions
for active business intercourse between Armenia and Yaroslavl province
and considered it necessary to juxtapose the economic potential of
the sides to make it clear in what directions each side can present
itself in the market of the other.

The governor noted that Yaroslavl and Armavir actively cooperate and
have a wide opportunity and tremendous potential to expand it.

For that aim in the nearest future representations will open in both
provinces which will become practical means for exchange of information
between each other and clarification of cooperation directions.

Sergey Vakhrukov also said that the Yaroslavl Armenian community has
a great authority and numerous Armenian businessmen implement serious
projects in the province.
