"Armenia is just unable to draw any conclusions on the basis of the
statements voiced by the Foreign Minister of Turkey", said famous
political scientist and diplomat Vafa Guluzade, commenting on the
statements, sounded by Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu
in Baku.

"The opinion of the so-called leaders of Armenia could have been
influenced by these statements if an independent state was implied",
said the expert. "But, in fact, the Republic of Armenia does not
exist. There is just an outpost, like Mr.Gryzlov said, and there is
a province, like I, Mr.Guluzade, said. Armenia is not an independent
state".

According to the political scientist, today Armenia it is a puppet,
it is governed from outside and nothing depends on it.

"I heard this from decent people from the Armenian team. They said
nothing depends on them. I will not specify their names but every
professional knows that nothing depends on Yerevan".

According to the diplomat, Davutoghlu’s statements might not affect
the continuation of the Armenian-Turkish dialogue and reconciliation
either. "The matter is that the Armenian-Turkish dialogue has
failed. It will not continue", considers Guluzade.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
