LITTLE ARMENIA TO BECOME BRAND

LOS ANGELES, MAY 27, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. Los Angeles’ LAist
blog reported that Little Armenia business owners want it to become
a strong brand. The Little Armenia Chamber of Commerce announced
that there would be signs on the 101 Freeway near the Sunset Blvd.,
which would show the district’s location. One of the two other major
improvements to the area is an Armenian Gateway Monument Installation
and the other is the formation of business (business improvement
district, BID) along Sunset between Edgemont and Wilton. BID plan
includes security, better street maintenance, some steps towards the
beautification of the district and homeless services coordination.
