ArmInfo. ‘OBSEC cross-border cooperation program gives an
opportunity to the regions of Armenia and the Black Sea basin to
cooperate. Nevertheless, OBSEC states are not ready or are unable to
successfully cooperate as part of this program yet’, Vahe Danielyan,
the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armeia, said at a seminar on
preparation on OBSEC program as part of the European Neighborhood
and Partnership Instrument (ENPI ) and Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC)
in Yerevan, Friday.

‘It is a very interesting program that makes our activity connected
with institutional reforms richer. Unlike other instruments under
European Neighborhood Policy helping government agencies make
institutional reforms, this program helps non-commercial organizations
and the structure between the government an the public’, he said.

The goal of this seminar is to provide organizations with details on
the project of financing under the cross- border cooperation program
of OBSEC.

Among such organizations are local authorities, regional
administrations, universities, NGO, associations of agricultural
producers and fishers, research and higher educational establishments,
agencies and organizations operating in the sphere of local economic
and social development in the given region.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
