YEREVAN, JUNE 12, ARMENPRESS: Armenia will take part in the
international book exhibition which will be held September 2-7 in
Moscow. Head of the publication agency of the Armenian Culture Ministry
Edward Militonian told Armenpress that Armenia will be represented
in the exhibition with a separate pavilion; a number of publications
will present their best books published during the latest years.
"Each year Armenia takes part in this exhibition presenting the
latest achievements in the publication sphere as well as the best
books. Participation in the exhibition gives us an opportunity to
establish new links, communicate with our partners, and get acquainted
with their achievements and works," E. Militonian said.
He noted that Armenia can be proud as the Armenian works presented
in the "Book Art" international contest which is held within the
frameworks of the exhibition have highly been assessed. According to
E. Militonian, it is not accidental as the books published in Armenia
have a high interface and content quality.
Encyclopedias, translation literature and children’s books will be
presented in the exhibition. E. Militonian noted that the participation
in the Moscow exhibition is signified by the fact that numerous
Armenians live there who have an opportunity to get acquainted with
the works of Armenian writers.
