YEREVAN, JUNE 11, ARMENPRESS: An exhibition of Indian goods will be
held in Armenia in September. Head of the department of support to
the entrepreneurship of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Masis Sargsyan told Armenpress that during the exhibition numerous
Indian companies will present bijouterie, clothes, leather goods,
accessories related to the phototherapy, foods, handworks, furniture,
shoes, kitchen equipments, etc.
According to M. Sargsyan, the organization of such an exhibition is
very important for India; it gives an opportunity to get acquainted
with the products of this state and their quality. The Indian goods
are known with their low prices. He noted that if formerly the Indian
side organized such an exhibition in Armenia once in a year, this
year it expressed wish to organize twice.
"It will be very good if in other states exhibitions of Armenian
goods were organized frequently. Last year such events were held in
Aleppo which was a great success and there were numerous positive
feedbacks. This year exhibition is also intended to be organized in
Aleppo in November," M. Sargsyan said. Organizers of the exhibition of
Indian goods are the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the
Embassy of India to Armenia. The exhibition will be open for 8 days.
