ORANGE TO PRESENT INNOVATIONS ON ARMENIAN MARKET

YEREVAN, June 15. /ARKA/. The Orange Company will present innovations
on the Armenian Internet and mobile communication markets,
Vice-President Olaf Swantee told reporters.

The Orange Company places emphasis on technological innovations on
the Armenian Internet and mobile communication market, he said.

According to him, any Armenian citizen must have Internet access by
means of special mobile devices and computers. The best way of reaching
results is to introduce all the modern technologies in Armenia, render
highest-quality services and form a professional team, Swantee said.

Orange Armenia, fully owned by France Telecom (Orange brand) received
a final license on November 19, 2008. The 15-year license grant the
company a 10-year right to use radio frequencies and assign telephone
numbers with the following codes: +374(0)55 and +374(0)95.

On October 7, 2008, the RA Tender Commission announced France Telecom
(Orange brand) a winner of a contest for the third mobile operator
of Armenia. The company made the largest tender for a GSM license –
â~B¬51.5mln.

Two mobile operators had been working on the Armenian mobile
communication market before – ArmenTel (fully owned by VimpelCom),
and VivaCell, with its control, stock held by MTS (Russia).
