PRESIDENT OF BELARUS: I WILL CREATE FOR ARMENIAN BUSINESSMEN BETTER CONDITIONS THAN IN ARMENIA

ArmInfo. If Armenian businessmen launch export substitution production
in Belarus, they will enjoy the best conditions. Armenian businessmen
should not doubt on the possibility of exporting the capital they will
earn in our country, President of Belarus Aleksander Lukashenko said at
a meeting with business circles of Armenia on Tuesday, BELTA reported.
‘I will welcome ctivity of businessmen from Armenia. We will create all
the necessary conditions for their activity in Belarus, especially for
the businessmen who will make investments in our country. Conditions
even better than in Armenia will be created’, he said.
Lukashenko said Belarus and Armenia had no commodity turnover quite
few years ago. ‘We have increased commodity turnover 10 times in
2-3 years, found the ways for mutual supply of goods and increased
trade. This means that we have good potential’, A. Lukashenko said.
For their part, representatives of business circles of Armenia took
interest in cooperation with Belarus. Businessmen intend to study the
key dimensions of Armenian-Byelorussian cooperation in the present
conditions of the global financial and economic crisis.
