ARMENIA FOR FORMATION OF COOPERATION BETWEEN REGIONAL COUNTRIES IN FIGHTING DRUGS

YEREVAN, JUNE 16, NOYAN TAPAN. Secretary of the National Security
Council Artur Baghdasarian receiving the delegation headed by the
regional coordinator of drug confronting program in the South Caucasus
Gregory Connor, announced that Armenia is for formation of cooperation
between regional countries in fighting drugs. He informed that a
working group has been set up according to the 2009-2011 program of
events ensuring implementation of Armenia-EU Actions Plan which will
work out a national program of fighting drugs.

According to the National Security Council Press Service, the sides
agreed to cooperate in the issue of working out the national program.
