ARMENIAN DELEGATION TO TAKE PART IN 18TH ANNUAL SESSION OF PACE PA

ArmInfo. The Armenian delegation will take part in the 18th annual
session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to be held on June 29 – July
3 in Vilnius, Latvia. The issues of solution of the new challenges
in security will become the key topic of the session.

As Head of the parliamentary delegation to PACE, MP from "Prosperous
Armenia" faction Aram Safaryan told ArmInfo, the relevant
resolutions will be adopted in the three main committees of OSCE
PA, and the Armenian party will be offered to work over their
development. According to him, discussions on these issues will be
held in the country’s parliament the next week, and the Armenian
delegation will leave for Vilnius on June 27.

Strengthening and reformation of OSCE, encouragement of human rights
and civil freedoms, energy and food security, climate change,
freedom of opinions and control of armament are only some of the
issues to be discussed during the session with participation of over
250 parliamentarians from 49 OSCE member-states.
